In both Myanmar and Bangladesh, refugee women have faced physical and sexual assault while searching for water. This is a human tragedy we can no longer ignore.

What Is UAIM Doing About It?

At the United Arakan Institute Malaysia (UAIM), we believe that access to clean water is a basic human right. Through our Tubewell Installation Project, we are working to provide reliable, safe drinking water to the most vulnerable communities in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Thanks to your generous support, we have already installed 30 tubewells in both regions—helping thousands of people access clean water, especially during the hot summer months when water scarcity is at its worst.
